In gas turbine combustors, acoustic waves can induce perturbations in velocity and equivalence ratio. These perturbations lead to fluctuations in heat release, which in turn interact with the acoustic field, forming a feedback loop. Such combustion instabilities can amplify pressure oscillations inside the combustor, potentially causing performance degradation or component damage. Therefore, predictive and control-oriented analysis techniques are essential at the design stage. This study investigates the effects of hydrogen blending ratio, thermal power, and pilot ratio (PR) on combustion instability in a gas turbine combustor. Three-dimensional steady-state CFD simulations based on RANS were conducted to calculate temperature fields and OH radical distributions under various operating conditions. From these results, key parameters of the flame transfer function namely, the time delay () and the time delay distribution (), were extracted. These parameters were then applied to a 1D thermoacoustic network model to predict growth rates at dominant instability frequencies. The model predictions were validated against experimental data. The results show that variations in hydrogen blending ratio, thermal power, and PR significantly affect flame structure, leading to changes in and , which in turn influence instability growth rates. These findings highlight the importance of considering such operating conditions in combustor design. This work provides a foundation for developing reliable combustion instability analysis tools for gas turbine combustors.
