개요 : 본 연구의 목적은 인도와 베트남 자동차 산업의 고도화 과정을 모델로 삼아 방글라데시 자동차 산업의 기반을 마련할 수 있는 전략을 수립하는 것입니다. 전 세계적으로 자동차는 한 나라의 경제와 산업 발전을 주도할 수 있는 주요 산업입니다. 방글라데시는 매우 높은 관세, 자동차에 부과되는 세율, 극도로 혼잡한 도로, 열악한 도로 품질, 비싼 자동차 부품으로 인한 매우 높은 유지비 등의 여러 요인으로 인해 아직 자동차 산업이 정착될 수 없는 신흥 개발국가입니다. 대부분의 가정은 자동차를 구매하기 어려운 여건이며, 은 안전하지 않고, 효율적이고 숙련된 노동력의 부족, 관련 기계산업 부족 등이 있습니다. 따라서 본 연구는 인도와 베트남과 같이 자동차 산업의 경쟁력이 상대적으로 높은 개발도상국가들의 자동차 산업의 경쟁력 비교우위 요인을 파악하는데 초점을 맞췄습니다. 이니셔티브, 그들의 유지보수, 자동차 산업분야에 대한 투자를 포함합니다. 포터의 다이아몬드 모델은 전체 관점에서 산업별 경쟁력 요인 비교에 적합하며, 이를 위해 인도, 베트남 및 방글라데시 간의 자동차 산업의 국제 경쟁력을 비교하고 분석하여 중요한 결과를 도출하기 위해 본 연구에 적용하였습니다. 연구의 방법론, 데이터 및 설계는 다음과 같습니다. 본 연구는 포터스 다이아몬드 모델의 네 가지 주요 요인인 요소 조건, 수요 조건, 관련 및 지원 산업 및 확고한 전략, 구조 및 경쟁력 조건을 인도, 베트남 및 방글라데시의 자동차 산업에 적용하여 비교 분석하였습니다. 이들 세 국가의 요인별 데이터는 신뢰할 수 있는 공식 출처뿐만 아니라 국제 기구 및 문헌 검토를 통해 수집되어 이 연구 모델을 확립하는 데 도움이 되었습니다. 결과: 본 연구의 분석결과 방글라데시 자동차산업의 국제경쟁력은 수요 및 지원산업 분야에서 낮고, 기업전략, 요인조건, 구조, 경쟁 등 국제경쟁력이 낮은 것으로 나타났습니다. 반면 인도와 베트남의 자동차 산업은 예상대로 4 개 요인 모두에서 방글라데시의 국제 경쟁력보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났습니다. 다이아몬드 모델의 네 가지 결정 요인을 기반으로 방글라데시 자동차 산업 발전에 대한 전략적 함의를 분석했습니다. 마지막으로 중요한 권고 사항으로 방글라데시가 세계 주요 자동차 제조 경제 중 하나로 번영하는 데 기여할 것이라고 덧붙였습니다. 결론적으로, 방글라데시 자동차 산업의 발전을 위해서는 비교 국가의 다른 모든 부문의 성장 균형을 맞출 필요가 있습니다

Abstract Purpose: This study’s purpose is to establish a better strategy for the emerging automobile industry of Bangladeshi by using the upgrading process of the India and Vietnam automobile industries as a model. Around the world, automobile is the main sector that driven a country’s economy and industrial development. Some countries are developed by using this sector, and some are wanted to become a leading one. Bangladesh is one of the rising country that haven’t reached its goal yet, due to number of factors including extremely high duty, tax rates imposed on cars, extremely congested roads, poor quality of roads, very high maintenance costs due to costly auto parts, most families need to hire a driver for driving the car primarily because driving condition is unsafe, lack of efficient labor, lack of skilled labor, machineries and so on. So, this study focused into other efficient countries like India and Vietnam’s competitiveness including initiatives, their maintenances, investment in automobile sector. For making whole paper relevant, Porter’s Diamond Model is using to make comparison and analyzing automobile industry’s international competitiveness among India, Vietnam and Bangladesh to derive significant outcome. Methodology, data and design of Research: This study has experimented by the related the five forces of Porters’ Diamond Mode and this study would be appeared the analysis India, Vietnam and Bangladesh’s automobile industry with four main factors of Porters model including- factor conditions, demand conditions, related and supporting industries and firm strategy, structure and rivalry also Government and Chance concept presented here. Data of all three countries were collected from trustworthy official sources as well as international organizations and literature reviews were helping to establish this research model. Results: As a result of this study analysis, the Bangladeshis automobile industry’s has international competitiveness is low in sector of demand and support industries, and international competitiveness, like strategies of corporate, factor conditions, structures and competition. On the other hand, Indian and Vietnam’s automobile industry were greater than international competitiveness automobile industry that of Bangladesh in the four determinants as expected. Strategic implications for the development of the automobile industry of Bangladesh were occupied the analyzing results based on the four determinants of Porter’s Model. At the end important recommendations added that would be contributed to Bangladesh in flourishing emersion as one of the leading automobile manufacturing economies in the world. In conclusion, Bangladesh automobile industry has necessary need to balance growth in all other sectors of the country for development.
