연구 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 디지털 셋업 모형에서 CAD-CAM 기술을 이용하여 제작된 jig를 이용한 교정용 브라켓의 간접 접착 방법의 정확성을 평가하는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 디지털 모델 제작을 위해 10개의 상악 치아 모형을 두 그룹으로 나누어, 구강 스캐너를 이용하여 스캔하였다. 전치, 견치, 소구치 및 제1대구치를 디지털 모델에서 분할 및 이상적인 형태로 배열하여, 교정용 브라켓을 이상적인 위치에 위치시켰다. CAD-CAM 기술을 이용하여, 치아의 형태와 브라켓의 위치를 인기해주는 120개의 jig를 제작하였다. 10개의 모형 중 5개의 모형(그룹1)은 jig만을 이용한 간접 접착 방법을 시행하였고, 나머지 5개의 모형(그룹2)은 jig와 추가적으로 진공 압축 성형 방식으로 제작한 vaccum-formed tray를 이용하여 간접 접착을 시행하였다. 초기 치아 모델에 교정용 브라켓을 접착시킨 상태로, 모델을 다시 스캔하였다. 이 스캔상의 브라켓의 위치는 초기 디지털 모형 위의 이상적으로 계획된 브라켓 위치와 비교 평가되어 정확도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과: 측정된 두 그룹의 모든 치아에서, 브라켓의 접착 오차는 거리 계측 치에서는 평균 ±0.1mm이내의 오차를 보였으며, 각도 계측 치에서는 가장 높은 수치를 보인 소구치의 순설측 경사 (3.36°)를 제외하고는 다른 모든 값에서 ±2.0°이내의 오차를 보였다. 두 그룹에서의 접착 오차는 통계적으로 군간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: CAD-CAM 지그를 이용한 간접 브라켓 접합법은 임상적으로 수용할 만한 정확도를 보여 주었다.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of the indirect bonding method of orthodontic brackets using a jig fabricated with CAD-CAM technology in a digital setup model. Materials and Methods: Ten maxillary tooth models were divided into two groups and scanned using an intraoral scanner. The anterior teeth, canines, premolars and first molars were segmented and set up on the digital model, and the orthodontic bracket was put in an ideal position. Using CAD-CAM technology, total 120 brackets jigs were fabricated. Five models (group 1) were for indirect bonding using only jigs, and the other five models (group 2) were indirectly bonded using jigs and additional vacuum-formed trays. With orthodontic brackets bonded to the initial tooth model, the model was re-scanned. The position of the bracket on this scan was evaluated and compared with the ideally planned position of the bracket on the initial digital model to measure the accuracy. Results: For all teeth in both groups, the bracket bonding error was within ±0.1mm on average in distance measurement. And except labiolingual inclination (3.36°)on the premolars of Group 1, which showed the highest error in angle measurement, the errors in angle measurement was within ±2.0°. The bonding accuracy in the two groups was not statistically different. Conclusions: The indirect bracket bonding method using CAD-CAM jig showed clinically acceptable accuracy.
