세이보리의 생육현황과 생물학적 작용 및 정유성분에 대한 연구

ABSTRACT From old times, Herb savory has been believed to have many effects such as overcoming fatigue or biological activating effect. However, there have been few researches on it. So I started the research to find out under that conditions related to soil and climate of Korea. Since 2020, They has been sown and allowed to germinate, after which they were planted into plastic pots, put both in the glasshouse and outside. The pots were categorized according to the types of soil, six different kinds. The environment they were put was sunny condition with well-drained soil and dry airflow. Growth conditions such as plant height, the width of crown, the number and the length of plant stem were measured weekly, which could show the traits of savory, which is originated from temperate climate zone, in Korean climate and condition of soil. Also, How much active ingredients, Zinc and Vitamin B3, was contained and analyzed. In 2021, savory was planted in the bare ground and compared to the savory in 2020, kept frozen for a year, by which comparing analysis research about the elements of Carvacrol and Rosmarninc Acid, phenolic compound, was carried out to see the variance of essential oil component based on conditions and durations of storage. In chapter 3, ecological characteristics based on the conditions of soil were covered. In a greenhouse condition, the most thriving growth was seen in bed soil mixed with saprolite and soil with poultry manure category. In contrast, te worst growth was seen in saprolite soil category. In a outdoor condition, the most thriving growth was seen in the bed soil category, especially in plant height, the width of growth, and the length of plant stem, while one more growth was observed in the bed soil mixed with saprolite and poultry manure category. And the worst growth condition was observed in the saprolite and clay category. In relation to the content of Zinc and Vitamin B3, among the elements suggesting biological function of savory, Zinc content was 2.166mg in the bed soil mixed with saprolite and poultry manure category in a greenhouse condition. In an outdoor condition, the growth wasn’t vigorous, but the bed soil mixed with clay category showed the most Zinc content(1,480mg). Vitamin B3 content was 1.63mg/kg and niacinamide content was 0.215mg/kg. Lastly, among the essential oil elements that are biological active ingredients, phenolic compounds analysis and metabolome analysis were conducted. According to HPLC analysis, Carvacrol was 1437mg/kg in the sample grown and frozen in 2020 and 1037mg/kg in the sample grown in 2021, which suggest the more content can be obtained when stored for about a year. Rosmarinic acid was 873.6㎍/g in the sample grown and frozen in 2020 and 210.873㎍/g in the sample grown in 2021, which also suggest the more content can be acquired when stored for about a year. Savory, which originates from temperate climate zone, showed 16.35±0.5 rosmarinic acid content in Iran, located in Arabia peninsula, 301㎍/g in Seville, Spain, according to research materials, which can make comparison possible. Through this, it can be proven that the difference in the active ingredients content of the native habitat and that of Korea is not insignificant.
