Germination Characteristics of Seed Variables by Seed Temperature Dipping Treatment of Major Tree Species for South and North Korea’s Forest Cooperation

The purpose of this study was to obtain basic data and technology development for good seedling production with high productivity and efficiency for unit seed amount by experimenting germination characteristics by temperature change and temperature change treatment temperature compared to the treatment method dipped at normal room temperature of deciduous pine, birch, and pine seeds, which are a forest species for inter-Korean forest cooperation.In the case of L. japonica and birch, the results of the previous test (Choi Jong-oh and Park Yong-jin, 2022) and the results of this test showed that the germination rate was different, but the tendency of the 1.5 days of hot water and 1.5 days of cold water treatment was the same compared to the 3 days of room temperature immersion treatment.In addition, there was no significant difference in birch tree from the existing test results, but in the case of deciduous pine, seed disinfectant (hymexazole liquor) affected the occurrence of warehousing disease and showed a difference in germination rate as a result. As a result, in the case of deciduous pine and birch, the temperature -shifting method for treating 1.5 days of hot water (25°C) and 1.5 days of cold water (5°C) was derived from various analysis methods such as germination rate than 3 days of immersion at the existing room temperature, and it is expected that the productivity of seedlings can be improved and efficiency can be increased through seed pretreatment compared to unit seed amount.This is expected to help the cooperation project through inter - Korean technical cooperation based on the results of the study so that it can be used as a seed pretreatment method used for inter-Korean forest cooperation. However, the results of this study suggest that comparative analysis is needed for pine seeds that have no statistical significance in various temperature immersion conditions.
