The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of appearance-related sociocultural attitudes on the psychological Sense of Happiness of University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education through the Physical attractiveness perception and body image. To this end, after establishing a population centering on University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education courses at a four-year university in Gangwon-do, the method of convenience sampling As a result, a total of 530 people were sampled using Google Form, and data from 510 valid samples were used for the final analysis. The following are the conclusions that were elicited on the basis of these data analysis results. First, as a result of analyzing Appearance-Related Sociocultural Attitudes, Physical Attractiveness Perception, body image, and psychological Sense of Happiness according to demographic characteristics of University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education, significant differences were found. Second, it was found that the Appearance-Related Sociocultural Attitudes of University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education had a significant effect on the Physical Attractiveness Perception. Third, it was found that the Appearance-Related Sociocultural Attitudes of University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education had a significant effect on the Body Image. Fourth, it was found that the Appearance-Related Sociocultural Attitudes of University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education had a significant effect on the Psychological Sense Happiness. Fifth, it was found that there was a causal relationship between Appearance-Related Sociocultural Attitudes, Physical Attractiveness Perception, body image, and psychological Sense of Happiness of University Students Participating in Liberal Arts physical education.
