Recently, the fourth industrial revolution has become a big issue. Core technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, such as big data, artificial intelligence, IoT(Internet of Things), and context awareness, are based on collecting, analyzing and processing large amounts of data. IoT means that all objects around us are connected to the internet and communicate with each other with minimum human intervention. Advances in smart devices and sensors are driving rapid Internet and integration of objects, continuously generating vast amounts of data. The ultimate goal of IoT is to create a world in where objects around us know what we like, what we want, and what we need and act accordingly without explicit instructions. In order to realize IoT vision where objects are interconnected, this paper describes the Design and Implementation of a General Purpose IoT Hub that integrate and manage multiple sensors and modules and collect and transmit data. The structure of the system proposed in this paper is as follows. IoT hub is based on Raspberry Pi. Sensors and modules connected to the IoT hub transmit data to the IoT hub through communication protocols such as SPI, UART, and I²C. The IoT hub collects data from sensors and modules and sends them to the computer where the server is installed via TCP/IP socket communication. The information transmitted to the server is stored in a database and visualized through a web page.
