The love of people and ghost is one of the important motifs in ancient Chinese literature. The story of ghost and human love has been handed down from ancient China to today, showing a strong vitality, During the wei, jin, southern and northern dynasties, love novels between people and ghost began to develop and were classified into ghost novels that recorded the stories and legends of supernatural beings and ghosts. In the tang dynasty, the more mature legendary novels on the form and content has been formed on the basis of mystery novels. The love story between people and ghost as a important theme of legendary novels also got development. In the Ming and qing dynasties, The connotation of love story between people and ghost became more abundant and more ironic to the society. Condemning the ruler and so on also appear on the love story between people and ghost. Magnum opus 『Liao Zhai Zhi Yi』 of the love story between people and ghost appear on this time. Although the number of the love story between people and ghost of Korea is less than that of China, but the love story between people and ghost beginning with tales in the xin-luo era and has a long history. In the era of Korea, the first chinese-language novel 『Geu Mo Shin Hwa』 which also included the love story between people and ghost novels with high literary value in Korean history appeared. This article will make a comparative study between two Magnum opus of the love story between people and ghost 『Geu Mo Shin Hwa』and 『Liao Zhai Zhi Yi』from Korea and China. Two story of these two novels are selected to be compared on the characters and the process of the story to explore the inner world of the author Pu Song ling and Kim Si-seup and analysis the ideology of author by the works to express.
