초록/요약
목적: 이번 임상 연구의 목적은 바르는 미백젤의 효능을 증대시키고 치은 자극을 최소화하기 위해 wrap과 함께 사용하는 치아 미백 제품의 임상적 효능과 안전성을 평가하는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 90명의 피험자를 모집하여 대조군과 2.8%, 3.0%의 과산화수소가 포함된 미백젤을 사용하는 두 개의 실험군으로 각각 30명씩 무작위 배정하여 상악 4전치 부위에 하루에 1번 30분씩 2주간 미백젤과 wrap을 사용하게 하였다. VITA classical A1 - D4® shade guide와 ShadeEye NCC® 를 이용하여 미백 직전, 미백 중 3일, 7일, 14일에 치아 색조를 측정하였으며 부작용도 조사하였다. 유효성 평가를 위해 two - way ANOVA test를 사용하여 Dunnett T3으로 사후평가 하였고, 안전성 평가는 Kruskal Wallis test로 통계 분석 하였다. 결과: 비타 색조 기준표에 의한 평가에서는 미백 성분이 들어있는 실험군에서 대조군과 비교시 유의한 미백 효과를 보였으며 (p < 0.05) 미백 성분이 높을수록 그 효과가 크게 나타났다. 측색기를 이용한 평가에서는 3.0% 실험군이 대조군과 2.8% 실험군에 비해 유의한 미백 효과를 보였다 (p < 0.05). 경미한 부작용의 호소가 일부 있었으나 대조군과 실험군 모두 치은 자극에 대한 이상증상을 보이지 않았다. 결론: wrap과 함께 사용한 자가 도포 미백젤은 미백 성분이 높을수록 그 효과가 증가되며 유의하게 심각한 부작용이 관찰되지 않아 유용한 자가 미백 치료제로 활용될 수 있다.

Objective: The aim of this clinical study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a self - applied paint - on whitening gel combined with warp to increase the effect of a whitening gel and minimize gingival irritation. Materials and methods: Ninety adult volunteers were randomly treated to a control group and two experimental groups for 30 persons each. They had used the wrap and whitening gel on maxillary 4 anterior teeth for 30 minutes per day during 2 weeks. Whitening tooth color response was measured by VITA classical A1 - D4® shade guide and ShadeEye NCC® at baseline, 3 day, 7 day, and 14 day. And side effects were assessed from interview and intraoral examination. The efficacy evaluation was statistically analyzed using two - way ANOVA followed by Dunnett T3 post hoc test at 95% significant level, and the safety evaluation was analyzed using Kruskal Wallis test. Results: In the evaluation with VITA shade guide, there was significantly the whitening effect in experimental groups compared with the control group (p < 0.05), the higher the whitening concentration the bigger whitening effect. In the evaluation with ShadeEye NCC®, the 3.0% experimental group showed significantly the whitening effect compared to the control group and the 2.8% experimental group. There were some complaints of minor side effects, but there did not find abnormal symptoms of the gingival stimulation in all groups. Conclusions: A self - applied paint - on whitening del combined with wrap has been proposed as a useful self-whitening material because of the higher whitening ingredients, the more increasing the whitening effect and significantly observed no serious side effects.
