체육학과 여대생의 스포츠동아리 활동참여가 자기효능감과 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향

The effect of participating in sports club on self-efficacy and school life satisfaction of female college students majoring in physical education. Ryu, Jin Hee Major in Physical Education Graduate School of Education Gangneuneg-Wonju National University The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of sport club activities on self-efficacy and satisfaction with school life among female P.E. majors in universities located in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, and in Seoul in an effort to provide information on related research. The subjects in this study were 258 selected female students who were in the departments of physical education in four-year universities in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, and in Seoul as of 2017. A survey was conducted with questionnaires that covered sport club participation, self- efficacy and school life satisfaction. After their answer sheets were gathered, the valid data from 220 respondents were analyzed, and 38 answer sheets that were not analyzable were excluded. A SPSS 21.0 was employed to analyze the data. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were no differences among the female P.E. students in self-efficacy according to demographic characteristics. Concerning school life satisfaction, there were differences only in class satisfaction. Second, as for differences in self-efficacy according to the frequency of sport club participation, there were differences among the female P.E. students in self-regulated efficacy. Regarding differences in school life satisfaction, there were differences in peer satisfaction. Third, as for differences in self-efficacy according to the period of sport club activity, there were differences among the female P.E. students in self-regulated efficacy. Concerning differences in school life satisfaction, there were differences in teaching satisfaction and peer satisfaction. Fourth, as for differences in self-efficacy according to the area of sport club activity, there were differences among the female P.E. students in self-regulated efficacy. No differences were found in school life satisfaction. Fifth, as for the relationships of sport club participation, self-efficacy and school life satisfaction, confidence that was one of the subfactors of self-efficacy exerted a positive influence on class satisfaction that was part of school life satisfaction, and self-regulated efficacy had a positive impact on teaching satisfaction and peer satisfaction. Exercise efficacy exerted a positive influence on school satisfaction. Given the findings of the study, more extensive research should be implemented by selecting subjects whose residential area and major are all different and who are members of different clubs. And the development of efficient club programs is required to elevate the self- efficacy and school life satisfaction of female P.E. students, and how to make it happen should carefully be discussed.
