2012년 동해 연안환경의 계절변화

초록/요약 도움말

Water temperature, salinity, Chl-a and nutrients from February to December, 2012 were used to illustrate seasonal change of water properties in the coastal waters of the East Sea. The data were used materials provided by KODC. In winter, water column was homogeneously vertically due to strong vertical mixing. Surface mixed layer was deeper than 100m, the mixed layer in the southern part is deeper than that in the northen part. In spring, thermocline was formed in the subsurface layer, warm eddies was found. In summer, strong stratification was formed with thermocline, and low salinity water was appeared in the upper layer from surface to 20m. In autumn, stratification become weakened, and lower salinity water layer was deepened. Concentration of nutrients was high relatively in the coastal water compared to offshore and the concentration increased with depth. The concentration of Chl-a was high in surface and 20m, two peaks in spring and autumn was found.
