초록/요약 도움말
The present research experiment was carried out to introduce leaf perilla cash crop as alternative crop for substituting the conventional crop system(potato-radish) in the East coast area of Gangwon province and to establish the year-round production technology of leaf perilla at Gaugnung, S. Korea. We tried to find out the optimum seeding date of leaf perilla "Namcheondlkkae"(Perilla frutescens var japonica Hara) during summer and winter season. At experiment Ⅰ during summer season, significant interaction between cultivation and seeding date was observed. There were significant differences at plant height. The emergence date of leaf perilla planted on April 1 at plastic tunnel cultivation was three days earlier than at non-plastic cultivation. The emergence date of leaf perilla at plastic tunnel cultivation on April 20 and May 10 was two days earlier than at non-plastic tunnel cultivation. As the planting date was delayed, days to emergence were decreased respectively. Harvesting times of leaf perilla planted on April 1 at plastic tunnel cultivation were the highest 24. As the planting time was delayed, harvest times decreased from 24 to 19. The more the planting date was delayed, the more the leaf harvesting period was shortened. Leaf yield(5,112kg/10a) of plastic tunnel cultivation was higher than those of non-plastic cultivation(4,625kg/10a). Also, leaf numbers and fresh weight of plastic tunnel cultivation were 17.0% and 10.5% higher than at non-plastic cultivation. Also, plastic tunnel cultivation was more efficient, in view of labor cost distribution during harvesting season. However, there was no significant difference between cultivation systems. Considering growth and economic assessment, the optinum seeding date for leaf perilla production during summer season(plastic tunnel cultivation) at east coast area was early April. At experiment Ⅱ during winter season, seeds planted three times from Dec. 20 to Feb. 20 at one month interval in non-heated plastic tunnel. Days to harvesting leaf perilla planted on Dec. 20, Jan. 20, and Feb. 20 were 111, 98, and 82 days. Harvesting times of leaf perilla planted on Dec. 20, Jan. 20, and Feb. 20 was 32, 31, and 27. The more the planting date was delayed , the more the number of leaf harvest was decreased. Leaf yield(7,286kg/10a) of leaf perilla planting on Jan. 20 was higher than on Dec. 20(7,073kg/10a) and on Jan. 20(6,443kg/10a). Also, leaf numbers and fresh weight were 12% and 13% higher than on Feb. 20. However, the yield of leaf perilla on Jan. 20 was 3.2 % higher than on Dec. 20. The seeding date on Jan. 20 seemed to be quite suitable in view of stability and management after the emergence of perilla. In case of a semi-forcing culture for leaf perilla, the optimum seeding date of leaf perilla was middle January. As a result, considering the economic efficacy, the optimum seeding date of leaf perilla production for summer season was early April while that for winter season called semi-forcing culture was middle of January.
