동해안 석호에서 수생천이계열에 따른 식생구조의 변화와18개 석호의 건륙화 상태 평가

Change of the vegetation structure according to hydrosere processes and the evaluation of successional state of the 18 lagoon located in the east coastal region, korea

초록/요약

In order to make a diagnosis the present ecological state for the conservation and management, I investigated the environmental factory, landscape characteristics and vegetation structure in the 18 east coastal lagoon, Korea. And I have also compared the successional state by the developed landification index among the 18 lagoons, and studied the changes of the environmental and vegetational factors according to the hydro-seral stages in the shoreline of the lagoons. I have divided seral stages into 7 stages from open water stage to the stratified forest stage consider as the characteristics of water body, dominance of submerged and emergent plant, and development of the shrub, subtree and tree layer. According to the successional stage, water depth gradually decreased and water quality changed from seawater to brackish water and from brackish water to fresh water, organic matter in a soil layer gradually increased, and the litter layer grew up. As the development of the vegetation structure, the life-form of the vascular plants changed as follows; open water → submerged plant and floating-leaved plant → emergent plant and submerged plant → emergent plant → emergent plant, mesophyte and scrub → mesophyte. In the late seral stage, the 3 different forest types were established by the water retention or drainage and nutrient accumulation of the soil layer. Salix dominant forest developed in the wetted sites, the forest type dominated by Pinus thunbergii, Carex pumila and mesophytes developed in the well drained sites causing by sand substrate, and the forest type dominated by the planted or ruderals such as Pinus densiflora, Robiniapsedo-acacia, Festuca ovina, Setaria viridis ect. developed in the sites composed of forest soil introduced by artificial reclamation. I divided the 18 lagoons into 3 groups according to the successional state of the lagoon develoopmental processes. The 6 lagoons such as Hwajin-po, Songji, Young-lang, Chung-cho, Kyung-po and Hyang showed the relatively earlier stage of the successional process, the 5 lagoons such as Chun-jin, Bong-po, Mae and Sun-po showed the middle stage, and the other 7 lagoons such as Sunyoodam, Bong-po wetland, Gapyung-ri wetland, Ssang, Youm-gae, Gun-gae and Pung showed the most later stage among the 18 east coast lagoon. The lagoons belong to the more later stage represented the shallow water depth and characteristics of fresh water body. The lake area was negatively correlated with successional state, and positively correlated with the rate of landification. The lagoons belong to the later stage showed the wide distribution of the hydrophyte and mesophyte, and the more complicated shoreline than earlier stage. Natural factors were generally main driving force of the succession in the lagoons before 1966, but the artificial disturbances such as plantation and land-up for the rice field and construction were the more important driving force than natural factors afte 1966. The representative lagoons having the artificial driving forces were the lake Chung-cho, Kyung-po and Pung.
