초록/요약
The modern society kept destroying the environment, the living shelter of people thanks to unwise development. As a result, people who are living in the modern society want to live in a better environment as the quality of life increases. The importance of environment is now increasing. Mant citizens want a better quality of life with leisure and clean envrionment. In this research, I am going to talk about the concept of amenity and its importance. Finally, I will suggest and apply the detailed amenity for the city of Kangreung. First, when examining theologically, I extracted many definitions and functions of amenity from many books. And by comparing the 'pleasent environment indicator' announced in Japan and Korea, I could set the main indicator for the evaluation of Kanreung's amenity. Finally, I am going to talk about the effects that this research can give to Kanreung city. Second, (1) Whether people use the word 'amenity' or not (2) Categorization of amenity are used to analyze the dispersion of anemitic factors and philosophy in the city of Kangreung. Third, in the questionnaire, to evaluate the amenity level of citizens and college students near Kyodong area, I calculated the amenity point of residential area and the level of understanding about amenity. With this questionnaire, I could extract main factors that can be directly applied to the Kangreung's amenity. Moreover, for the public workers who are in charge of Kangreung's development, I made an investigation about their concept, importance and ability to apply 'amenity'. This research recognized the prior concept of amenity indicator through theological consideration and experiment. With this basis, I could recognize the perception of amenity at each group of people(citizens near Jungangro, students near Kyodong area and public workers). College student group was aware of the amenity and citizens around the Jungangro were not. Some public workers did not know the word 'amenity'. The amenity factors shown in those 3 groups were; (1) importance of life that demands the existence of green lands and water (2) specific characters of selected amenity following each group's circumstances. The college student group in Kyodong districtdemanded leisure structures such as theaters. The general citizens near Jungangro chose the cultural property and the public workers selected design as second level amenity. It means that the students group preferred theaters or art galleries to other structures and general citizens demanded festival or traditional events. Public workers chose design to emphasize landscape of Kangreung city. Connected to this, the preservation of amenity resource is required. For example, Yim Young Kwan or Oh Kyu Hwan villa near Jungangro are historically and culturally important amenity resources. However, their value are not evaluated properly. The Kyodong district has a wide range of green parks. However, the network is not connected well so many problems are happening in the field of biodiversity. With the result above, I want to propose some methods for improvement. First, the amenity concept should be recognized to the residents. Even in the students' group, some students did not know what the amenity was. Most residents near Jungangro did not know about amenity. Moreover, public workers who are in the first line of administration did not know exactly about amenity. Thus, Kangreung city has to make education and advertisement about the amenity through media and school. Through this activity, all the residents and public workers in Kangreung can work hard together for the construction of amenity Kangreung city. Second, green parks and water-adjacent areas should be constructed. Those environmental factors show great importance. In Kyodong district, there are some parks and children amusement parks already. However, there is no water. Thus, to confirm the amenity factor, Kangreung city has to make a plantation in the downtown and induce Namdae stream into the city. Kyodong district should install artificial lake or cascade for water resources. And according to our research, Jungangro wants traditional festivals and events such as Dan Oh festival or street concerts. These events will confirm the identity of residents and increase their pride.
